2011 in review

The WordPress.com stats helper monkeys prepared a 2011 annual report for this blog. Here’s an excerpt:

A New York City subway train holds 1,200 people. This blog was viewed about 3,900 times in 2011. If it were a NYC subway train, it would take about 3 trips to carry that many people.

About Mike F.

I am a historian in training at Missouri State University, where I am studying under Dr. Thomas Dicke. My thesis is an examination of the desegregation process of Springfield (MO) High School. In addition to education and African American history, I also have training in the historiography of inter-war Europe and American religious and social history. Currently, my main area of interest lies in the social history of the American West. Outside of history, I have extensive experience in records management, especially private and confidential material, as well as metadata standards and digitization processes.
