My Email Says Barack Obama is the Anti-Christ

Edit: Please, before you comment or send me hate mail, read comment #3 below.  Never have I been the recipient of so much venomous hate, all from people who bemoan my lack of tolerance.  If you don’t see the irony in that, then please do everyone a favor and quit the internet.

This just came to my inbox and I thought I would quickly pass it on.

This will make you re-think: A Trivia question in Sunday School:
How long is the beast allowed to have authority in Revelations?
Revelations tells us it is 42 months, and you know what that is. Almost a four-year term of a Presidency.

All I can say is “Lord, Have mercy on us!”

According to The Book of Revelations the anti-Christ is: The anti-Christ will be a man, in his 40’s, of MUSLIM descent, who will deceive the nations with persuasive language, and have a MASSIVE Christ-like appeal….the prophecy says that people will flock to him and he will promise false hope and world peace, and when he is in power, will destroy everything..

Do we recognize this description??

I STRONGLY URGE each one of you to post this as many times as you can! Each opportunity that you have to send it to a friend or media it!
I refuse to take a chance on this unknown candidate who came out of nowhere.

From: Dr. John Tisdale

You might have a hard time finding the book of Revelations or you might question how someone could be of MUSLIM descent, but you shouldn’t, that’s exactly what the liberal MSM wants you to do.  (Don’t even believe these people, not for one second.)  Take this warning to heart people of the United States of America, if you elect Barack Obama as president, you will be ushering in the anti-Christ.  (But at least he’ll only serve one term.)  Can you take chance?  I stand with Dr. John Tisdale on this one.

Sometimes I Don't Like Being a Christian

One of the ongoing projects in my life is to find a way to separate myself from crazy Christians.  There are two ways I’ve come up with: first, call myself something other than Christian (or nothing at all); or second, call myself a Christian-But-Not-Like-Those-Crazy-People.  If you think this project is ill advised, below you will find some proof (HT: Chris Tilling).
